SnapChat is Where It's At!

Alright, if we were talking about social media a year ago,

I would have told you that Facebook is dead and Instagram

is where it's at. And don't get me wrong, I still post the

majority of our family fun and adventures over there. 

But, I would also tell you that the Haucks are having

fun, fun, fun on Snapchat too! It started as a way

to keep up with the younger staff we hired at work.

(I swear every summer I learn so much new stuff

about my iPhone and other apple related product things).

And for awhile it just sat as one of those unused

apps on my phone. But then, people started talking about

"adding snaps to their stories" and all these funny, quirky

filters and things came out.  So, there I was again,

learning how to use all the hilarious filters!

 

We had the most fun at Auntie Stacy's house

with the face swap filter....

in which it somehow meshes two faces together

and comes up with some freaky combo that makes you

wonder how your kid ever turned out to be so cute?

After I figured out this filter - there was no stopping me!

One of the more fun aspects of Snapchat is that

the filters change daily...so there is always

an array of crazy to choose from! Also sometimes,

it says to stick out your tongue and some kind

of animated thing starts to happen

(i.e. like a tongue hits the screen....or a

nose wiggles etc.)

 

If seeing my mug weren't enough

to get you on Snapchat - rope your

family members in! Auntie Stacy

has delivered some real gems....and so

has my dad (after a quick tutorial from me)!

 

Or better yet - just try to squeeze your whole

family into a snap!

Bottom line - just get your self on SnapChat!

And it goes without saying that you should friend me

on there. :) And who knows, now that I've

conquered Snapchat - maybe I will try

to figure out periscope? haha!
