and they were TOTALLY right! Max is (more) vocal,
(more) opinionated, and generally lets you know what
he does and does not want to be doing.
However, he is also, funny, charming, curious,
and tender. When a drawer front fell
on my toe/foot this weekend, he said,
"Mama, I can kiss it for you" and then
asked Mims to get him off the counter,
"because mommy's foot is hurting". Lately,
he's been saying that he's "too scared" to
go to bed. All that really means (I think) is that
he actually doesn't want to be going to bed. He is
willing to compromise on the going to bed
with a quick trip to the bathroom and rock in
in the chair. He continues to have a bath every
night. Told me his favorite food was sandwiches.
And, his favorite colors were green, and blue,
and purple. Max can also be bribed
to do nearly anything with the promise of some
time playing apps on your phone or a lifesaver.
Here are just ten more funny
and memorable things he's doing right now:

3.) He likes to yell "Cannonball" as he jumps

4.) His favorite toy might be his stomp rocket.
He got this for his birthday from Uncle Nick
and Aunt Cassie. Funny story - one of the rockets
5.) Loves chase and tag games
6.) If he could attend a fair or festival
every weekend, he most definitely would.
He has no fears when it comes to the rides
and will accept help from any carnival worker
7.) Recently he discovered "Clifford the Big Red" dog
on Netflix. I loved these books growing up and it
thrills me that he now loves him too. If you ask
Max what made Clifford grow so big, he will tell
9.) Every night after his bath we look at the calendar
and talk about what the next day will look like (i.e.
will he be going to Jessi's house? Will it be a
Mim's and Grandpa day? Mommy/Daddy day?)
10.) This weekend he told us repeatedly that
