Max, Mama, and Papa - December 2015

You will notice there is a bit of a holiday influence on
these pictures! We've been living on all things peppermint and chocolate,
while trying to fit in all the holiday traditions (new and old).

Here is what Mama, Max (31 months), and Papa were into during December 2015.
(From left to right - Papa, Max, and Mama)

DRINKING:// mocha from Tim Horton's, juice, and tea lattes
*Rob is partial to Tim Hortons
*Mama is partial to red cups

EATING:// See's candy, mint chocolate shortbread stars, and Candy Cane Joe Joe's
*We only have See's candy at the holiday - and it's always from
Grandpa Jim.
*It should go without saying that we love Trader Joes

GROWING:// his hair product collection, nails, paperwhites
*Santa put some new hair wax (paste?) in Papa Rob's stocking
*Max's nails grow SO FAST - we cut them almost every Sunday night
*While some find the smell of paper whites to be overwhelming...
I love it :)

LOVING:// allergy roller, play doh, photo strips in a frame
*Rob is finally succumbing to the power of the oils
*I cannot tell you how many play doh gingerbread men and
Christmas trees we have created over here...
*Photo Strips are my love language (after Christmas Cards)

MAKING:// sure Jingle (our elf) move every night, Christmas artwork, Christmas cookies
*While Max loved the idea of Jingle (our elf) - we scrambled every
night to remember to move him. We mostly just wanted him to bring
Max a book to read (reading is something we do every night).
*Is there anything better than toddler art work?
*Yum, pistachio cookies!

READING:// Christmas cards, There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed a Bell, and
Come Rain or Come Shine

WATCHING:// Christmas Vacation, Daniel Tiger, and Brooklyn 99
*We watched Christmas Vacation on repeat almost a whole week straight
(Rob can quote almost the whole movie).

WEARING:// work boots, ALL the holiday shirts, NEW glasses

Thanks for continuing to read this little blog of mine.
I promise to continue to update from our little corner of
Columbus as long as you promise to come back? okay?
See you in the Near Year!
xoxo
